Knockin' on Heaven's Door
Sorry for the cheesy subject line, it just seemed appropriate.
Sometime in the next 18 hours, barring another medical miracle, we will be putting Toi down. Something happened over the weekend - we don't know what, but the most likely thing is that his kidneys have finally failed - and there is no longer any doubt that it's time.
I just wanted to let everybody know. More later when I feel like talking, I suppose.

My thoughts and prayers will be with Toi, for him to have peace and not be in pain, and with you to have peace as well. I can't even imagine going through this...
*hugs* to you all, please pet Toi and hug Les for me.
