Holy crap, there are a lot of PDA models out there...

Considering an upgrade, but feeling overwhelmed by the choices. Any recommendations or warnings?

...It'll probably be a while before I actually do it and can afford it, but I am thinking of upgrading my old Palm Vx.

What kinds of features? The PocketPCs I've looked at tend to be crammed with features that I don't really care about. ;) I've also not been impressed with their battery life, at least in the past. I won't rule anything out, though.

Oh, sure, make me remember my feature list...

-- I know you can link between to-do lists and the address book.
-- Actual handwriting recognition, that learns your writing as you use it.
-- Easy to use with MP3s and camera plug-ins, with no extra software.

Ummm... Let me get M into this conversation, since he's the one who got me started...

-- Linking todos and addresses is a good example of a nifty feature that I'd probably never use.
-- I kinda like Graffitti, and I'd rather just pick up a system and use it than have a spend a couple of weeks training it - and I'd like to be able to let others use it occasionally, too. Plus some of them come with thumbboards these days...
-- And a lot of the new Palm models actually come with cameras and MP3 players, so that's not even a big factor.

So you see what I mean?
