Another quick update
Sep. 20th, 2004 11:14 amI'm sore. So very sore.
One of our friends is moving to a smaller place, and offered us her entertainment center. It's pretty nice, and has a lot more storage area than our current one. It's also nearly 7 feet tall and over 13 feet wide. So L got to watch the kidling while I rented a truck and went over there to take it apart. Only to discover that the battery in my cordless drill didn't charge. So I had to take it apart with just a screwdriver.
So. Very. Sore.
(Looks like the charger is defective and has started melting. Just my luck.)
Needless to say we haven't put it together yet. I think I have an expensive trip to Sears or Home Depot in my near future.
In other news, Carousel is coming... Three days. I'm trying to get excited about it, but for some reason I can't manage. Yet. L is trying to put a party together for the weekend after this one (because Yom Kippur is this weekend). That would be pretty cool - I think I'd get excited about a big birthday party.
Turns out that the new aquarium I posted about wasn't quite enough to get rid of the itch. My cichlid needs a bigger tank than the little 15 gallon we've got him in now (which is still better than the <10 gallon pond he was in to start with). Somehow I started looking on eBay. Heh. I can see how people get so wickedly addicted to this thing. Now to just refrain from bidding...
