Well, the boss has just informed me that I won't be getting paid on time this paycheck either (in addition to fizzgig_bites who hasn't been paid on time in months). The owners are going to be pawning jewelery to keep up the office expenses, and pay me enough to get us through Friday (the 9th), when, hopefully, the project I'm currently working on will be finished, installed, and paid for.


I'm not very optimistic that this will happen.

In my heart, I think I've already quit this place. I'm just waiting to dot the 'i's and cross the 't's (ie. actually getting another job). This, unfortunately, makes it much less likely that the project will actually get done, too. :) ...I really need to look into what an unemployment claim would pay. At least it would give me more time to job hunt...

The only redeeming factor is that I am having an absolute ball on the project itself, and once I get going for the day, I can forget how miserable the rest of my professional life is.

Oh, and on top of it, I've been summoned for jury duty on Monday. First time in my farking life and it comes now???
