A brief public service announcement. If you run your own web server, don't make your server logs (or summaries of them) publicly accessible. The reason: referrer spam. Asshole spammers pound your website all day with their site as the referrer, so that your logs are filled with their garbage.
I doubt they expect little direct benefit -- visitors to my site are not likely to click on a link to phentermine.at.mimanet.com (note, don't go to that site.) -- but by having a legit looking link on a legit site, it boosts their Google rankings, and who knows what other indirect benefits they get.
